‘Chitramrit’ (चित्रामृत), is highly based on resource books like- The life of Swami Vivekananda, New Discoveries, Reminiscences, Kathamrit, Gospels, Lilaprasanga, and the like. We are trying hard to take many notes from all such books. But considering the vastness of the subject, we need guidance from people who have studied such literature.
If you can share your knowledge, it will help us a lot in making the contents as accurate as possible. You can also involve in cross-checking, proofreading, etc. to improve the quality of the contents.
Commercial Contribution
Invest with us
We are currently investing in a smaller level to keep the project moving. However, due to the vastness of the project, any external financial support is always welcome and is highly valuable to us. You can contribute monthly or give us a one-time payment according to your convenience.
Sponsorship for videos is one more way to fund. For all large funding, we will display special credits in the videos and online.

Here are some highlights of important events in Chitramrit Project.
Inception
Tue, 28th Feb 2017 (Sri Ramkrishna Jayanti) – First recorded thought of working on this project in personal diary of Mahesh. Initial thoughts were ‘storming’ since many years before.
Apr 2018 – Early production trials, test work starts with team at Advaita Studios. Worked on ‘Vachanamrit’ / ‘Gospel of Sri Ramkrishna’, Dakshineshwar stories.
'Chitramrit' Name
June 2018 – The name for the project finalised to be ‘Chitramrit’.
Blessings from Pune Math
Jan – Mar 2019 – Discussion with Hon. Swami at Ramkrishna Math, pune. (Name not mentioned on his suggestion). He blessed and discussed on many points.
Chitramrit.com starts
Fri, 8th Feb 2019 – (Ganesh Jayanti) – Website started with basic homepage, and plans for development. Later on more pages and details were added.
Detailed chronology of Swamiji - compilation starts
Jul 2019 – ‘Detailed timeline of Swami vivekananda’s Life’ Notes taking started, based of ‘LIFE’ book. Made an apple numbers file having big table for noting down the details of events.
Blessings from Nagpur Math
Sept 2019 – Chitramrit team member Dinesh visited The Ramkrishna Math, Nagpur. He showed the updates, WIP visuals, roadmap to Honourable Adhyaksha Maharaj and some other Monks, Nagpur Math. Dinesh could also discuss with some monk for some time. They all liked. Hon’ble Adhyaksha Maharaj blessed and gave his best wishes for the project. Many of the monks asked Dinesh to let them know the further procedings.
Blessings from Sharada Math, Pune
Sept 2019 – Chitramrit team member Dinesh visited The Sharada Math, Pune. He showed the updates, WIP visuals, roadmap to Honourable ‘Pravarajika Atandraprana Mataji‘. Hon’ble Mataji liked the concept, updates and heartily gave blessings to the project. Also told Dinesh to keep her updated. We are really overwhelmed by her blessings.
Financial contribution received
2019 – One honourable person gave us a token amount for development of Chitramrit projects. This is the first external financial contribution. (*Due to the person’s note, we are not mentioning the name, etc.) (Pune, India)
Chitramrit 'Youtube' channel starts
Jan 2020 – Youtube channel starts, with no videos yet.
Rented office closed (COVID19 Pandemic)
Mar 2020 – The ‘Advaita Studios’ rented office near Dandekar bridge, pune was closed due to the begining of COVID19 pandemic. Team members went to their native places.
Detailed 3D Globe / Map starts
May 2020 – Work on Detailed 3d earth globe (Map) starts. Done by merging multiple very high resolution images from Nasa blue marble project and re-projecting them on earth sphere.
Consent for citation received from Advaita Ashrama, Kolkata.
Aug 2020 – Received consent to cite from books from Hon’ble Adhyaksha Sw. Shuddhidananda Maharaj, Advaita Ashrama, Kolkata. Maharaj liked the work in progress and asked to keep him informed about the future updates.

Sept 2020 – One of our well-wisher generously patronized us by offering a token amount for Chitramrit’s general purpose development. (*Due to the person’s note, we are not mentioning the name) (Pune, India)

2020 – 2 more correspondences happened in 2020, both regarding knowing more details for Swami Vivekanandas chronology.
One with hon’ble Sw. Nikhileshwarananda, Rajkot Ashrama. Who suggested a book – souvenir – ‘Swamiji in Gujrat’, by RK Math, Rajkot.
Other with Hon’ble Sw. Devprabhananda, Adhyaksha, Jaipur Ashrama. who himself called back over phone and lovingly gave reference of one book ‘Swami Vivekananda aur Rajasthan’

July 2021 – Correspondance happended with one of the very useful website regarding the Holi trio: ‘ramakrishnavivekananda.info’. The owners happily allowed us to add links to there website pages, specially ‘Sw. Vivekananda’s letters’.
Website host transfer and work resume after a short pause
Jan 2022 – Due to technical reasons, we shifted our hosting and domain. Also due to some other projects work on Chitramrit was on pause for last few months. Resumed work in Feb 2022. Added Chronicles of Swamiji – Ch 18 timeline. Updated some webpages.
